- UT Health Pittsburg offers 25 private rooms, a 24-hour Level IV trauma center and Level III stroke center, surgical suites, advanced diagnostics, a sleep lab, swing bed care, 16 physician offices, and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness facility.
Responsibilities
- Performs MRI procedures in order to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
- Functions under the direction of the Imaging Department Director (or designee), the MRI supervisor and in cooperation with the radiologists.
- This position is subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Enrollment in an approved school of radiologic technology.
- ARRT registered in MRI within 18 months of hire (Director/Coordinator discretion allowed).
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Knowledge and ability to operate all equipment and perform all MRI procedures as normally required in these areas.
- 2 to 3 years as a diagnostic technologist.
