You Are
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional for L1/L2 Support of batch job monitoring in the Health insurance domain. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely execution, monitoring, troubleshooting, and escalation of batch jobs across environments, utilizing tools such as Control-M, Informatica, and SecureCRT.

Compensation Range: $98,000-$150,000
Benefits

You Are
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional for L1/L2 Support of batch job monitoring in the Health insurance domain. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely execution, monitoring, troubleshooting, and escalation of batch jobs across environments, utilizing tools such as Control-M, Informatica, and SecureCRT.
The Opportunity
- Hybrid: In office/remote
- Monitor and manage scheduled batch jobs using Control-M across development, QA, and production environments.
- Use SecureCRT to connect to Unix/Linux servers and perform basic log analysis and job status checks.
- Perform initial troubleshooting of failed jobs and escalate to L3/Application teams as required.
- Monitor Informatica workflows and identify job failures, performance issues, or data anomalies.
- Acknowledge, track, and resolve s related to batch processing within defined SLAs.
- Maintain incident and problem tickets in ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).
- Document recurring issues and assist in root cause analysis.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for change management, job reruns, and incident resolutions.
- Support daily, weekly, and monthly reporting related to job failures, performance trends, and ticket analysis.
What You Need
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Batch Job Monitoring (L1/L2).
- Strong experience with Control-M for scheduling and job tracking.
- Proficiency in SecureCRT or similar SSH tools for system access.
- Basic knowledge of Informatica job execution and monitoring.
- Understanding of Unix/Linux commands for log monitoring and job management.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes – especially incident and problem management.
- Good communication skills to interact with support teams and end-users.
- Ability to work in 24x7 shifts, including night and weekend coverage.
- Preferred Skills: Knowledge of the medical insurance domain – claims processing, enrollment, eligibility.
- Exposure to database query languages (SQL) for log and data validation.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace, Nagios) is a plus.
