You Are
We are seeking a Cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong expertise in OpenStack-based IaaS environments to manage and support large-scale cloud infrastructure. The role is responsible for end-to-end administration, stability, and optimization of Linux and virtualization platforms.

Role Location: Virginia
Compensation Range: $86,000-$129,000
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

You Are
We are seeking a Cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong expertise in OpenStack-based IaaS environments to manage and support large-scale cloud infrastructure. The role is responsible for end-to-end administration, stability, and optimization of Linux and virtualization platforms.
The Opportunity
- Administer and manage OpenStack Cloud IaaS platforms ensuring high availability and performance
- Manage Linux infrastructure across Ubuntu, CentOS, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Administer and support KVM hypervisor environments
- Perform OS lifecycle management, including upgrades, patching, maintenance releases, and hardening
- Handle incident management, problem resolution, and technology s
- Support data center migration and replication activities, ensuring minimal disruption
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence and compliance with standards
- Proactively identify risks, capacity issues, and opportunities for improvement
What You Need
- 5 years of hands-on experience in OpenStack Cloud IaaS administration
- Strong expertise in Linux system administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL)
- Solid experience with KVM virtualization
- Proven knowledge of OS patching, upgrades, and infrastructure maintenance
- Experience handling production incidents and DC migration activities
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
