Are you interested in supporting advanced space technologies in one of the most diverse areas in the country? Come join our team here in sunny Southern California at Space Systems Command. We are located in the city of El Segundo, gateway to the beaches. The area offers a multitude of sandy choices, from Santa Monica to Redondo with plenty of things to do in between including hiking trails, breweries, sporting events, museums, piers, theme parks, zoos, and more. There is only 1 place in the world where you can surf and snowboard all on the same day, and it is in Southern California!
Ideal Candidate:
A degree in any discipline is acceptable, provided the completion of at least 24 semester hours in a combination of data analytics, operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must include Calculus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 2-page resume should reflect if applicable
Knowledge of cost analysis techniques and procedures applicable to all phases of an acquisition program from initial development through sustainment and disposal.
Knowledge of engineering and technical terminology sufficient to allow an effective interchange of technical information and its cost implications and application.
Knowledge of commonly used financial management, procurement, and acquisition methods, practices, procedures, regulations, policies, and processes.
Knowledge of the Programming, Planning, and Budgeting System policies, procedures, and documentation.
Knowledge of cost and schedule performance measurement concepts
Ability to gather, assemble, analyze, and normalize data to prepare financial cost estimates, develops alternatives, funding requirements and makes recommendations to resolve financial/funding problems.
Abilty to adapt models and techniques to changing program requirements; communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to justify, defend, present, advocate, and/or advise on financial processes, actions, and decisions.
