The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is seeking talented professionals to serve as a Supervisory Legal Administrative Specialist to assist with the management of a staff responsible for the examination and processing of Trademark registrations and intent-to-use applications.
Duties
This role is the ideal next career step for you if you:
- Have the ability to supervise a staff, including planning work to be accomplished by subordinates.
- Communicate effectively with subject area specialists, all levels of employees, other organizational managers and supervisors, public customers and contractors.
- Have the ability to use regulations, statutes, procedures, and policies relevant to carrying out branch functions.
- Perform critical evaluations of weekly, monthly, and annual organizational operations.

Qualifications
- Experience directing the work of all facets of a recording processing form beginning to end while providing day-to-day supervision and leadership to employees.
- Experience inspecting and validating completed documents for quality and accuracy to ensure tasks comply with regulatory mandates.
- Experience participating in requirements definition for new or enhanced management systems that are related to organizations processes.
Education
Education cannot be substituted for specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level.

Salary : $101,401 - $131,826
