Duties
- Safely operate various delivery vehicles including box trucks and courier vans with manual transmissions or automatic as required.
- Load, unload, and organize packages efficiently using forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary.
- Deliver parcels to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes, ensuring accurate and timely drop-offs.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting recipients professionally and addressing any delivery questions or concerns.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met.
- Maintain detailed delivery logs, route sheets, and incident reports to ensure accountability and smooth operations.
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, stock replenishment, and loading supplies for daily routes.
Skills
- Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations with a focus on logistics.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Experience operating commercial vehicles including box trucks or similar load-bearing vehicles with manual transmissions.
- Ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly and perform physical tasks such as moving boxes or equipment.
- Familiarity with warehouse tools like forklifts, pallet jacks, or load/unload equipment is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with
