Job Overview:
Position will be 10-20 hours per week in Rice with potential to have full 40 hours per week helping out other offices in the area. Position will be Saturdays and one Sunday every 4 -5 weeks. Also as needed during the week. Potential to help in neighboring offices once established in Rice.
We are seeking a dedicated Rural Carrier Associate to join our team. As a Rural Carrier Associate, you will be responsible for delivering mail in rural areas, providing essential postal services to residents.
Responsibilities:
- Drive assigned route to deliver and collect mail in rural areas
- Load and unload mail items into delivery vehicle
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of mail
- Provide excellent customer service to residents along the route
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Perform heavy lifting of mail items as needed
Qualifications:
- Will need personal vehicle for route delivery
- Proficient in heavy lifting techniques and capable of moving large mail items
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents
- Good communication skills to relay information effectively
