Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Rural Carrier Associate. As a Rural Carrier Associate, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to rural and city areas. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent driving skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Drive designated routes to deliver mail and packages to rural areas
- Load and unload mail and packages from vehicles
- Ensure accurate sorting and distribution of mail and packages
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Collect outgoing mail and packages from customers
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws while operating vehicles
Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service is preferred but not required.
- Route driving experience is a plus
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to drive safely and navigate rural and city areas efficiently
- Physical stamina to load/unload mail and packages
- Good organizational skills to maintain accurate records
