Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring seamless surgical and patient care operations. Key Responsibilities
- Implement physician orders and provide continuous, high-quality nursing care with ongoing patient evaluation
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times
- Assist physicians in the procedure room, including conscious sedation and sterile technique
- Obtain supplies for individual cases and ensure all Cath Lab needs are met
- Perform cardiac assessments per Cath Lab policy and conduct reassessments as needed
- Identify, evaluate, and correct errors, adapting quickly to changes in patient condition
- Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and ethical behavior
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians, and employees
- Contribute to performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Texas RN license
- Current BLS; ACLS required or obtainable
- Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting required
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient care management
- Solid understanding of aseptic technique
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Ability to demonstrate creativity, accountability, and adaptability

- Experience collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams in a high-acuity environment
