We are actively seeking a CNC Programmer to join our team of talented people to help continue our tradition of innovation and market leadership. This position works out of our facility in Woodland, WA location. Come and grow with us!
A CNC Programmer is responsible for programming and supporting the operation of multi-axis horizontal and vertical mills, ensuring accuracy and efficiency of machined parts. This role requires strong Mastercam programming experience, blueprint reading, and inspection skills.
Pay Range of $30.00 to $35.00.
Primary Responsibilities
- Program multi-axis horizontal and vertical mills.
- Develop new CNC programs based on engineering drawings and 3D models.
- Edit and convert existing programs for different machines.
- Select appropriate tooling from the tooling database.
- Maintain program and tooling databases for new and existing jobs.
- Work from specifications, travelers, blueprints, and written or verbal instructions.
- As needed, set up, load, prove out, and operate CNC machines to complete parts.
- Perform part inspections to verify requirements meet manufacturing drawings, quality standards, and customer specifications.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- 5 years of CNC Mastercam programming experience preferred.
- Experience with steel, aluminum, bronze, and brass materials.
- Proficiency using Mastercam, SolidWorks, and Excel.
- Experience with Esprit, Vericut, Datanomix, and Fastems MMS a plus.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Proficient in the use of precision inspection tools such as micrometers, indicators, thread gauges, and bore gauges.
- Strong working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), ASME Y14.5, and blueprint reading.
- Ability to process and apply mathematical and machining equations.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. occasionally and work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, vibration, and airborne particles.
