Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual and CNC machines (mills, lathes, broaching machines)
- Interpret mechanical drawings to achieve precise dimensions
- Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools
- Create custom fixturing and perform part inspection
- Assist in training and mentoring fellow machinists
- Maintain high safety and quality standards
- Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to welding fumes, noise, and non-climate-controlled conditions
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 years of manual machining experience preferred
- Familiarity with shop safety and lifting equipment
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift (up to 50 lbs.)
- Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening
- Full-time position: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (40 hours/week)
- Overtime as needed
