Job Summary
Student Services
Coordinator coordinates undergraduate student services in support of the Dean,
including oversight of undergraduate progression-to-degree paperwork and
related processes. The role supports course scheduling, academic advising
functions, and ensures compliance with University and College policies and
procedures related to undergraduate student progression and academic success.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Works closely with the Education Student Support Specialist to facilitate efficient course scheduling practices for the College of Education and Human Sciences (EHS) and monitors compliance with College and University scheduling policies and deadlines. Prepares and provides scheduling reports to the Dean and Associate Deans as needed.
- Manages the academic standards process in collaboration with the Student Support Specialist, ensuring all academic standards procedures align with university policies, procedures, and deadlines. Maintains accurate undergraduate student files and data to support Education and Human Sciences (EHS) student support initiatives.
- Monitors Education and Human Sciences (EHS) course enrollment numbers and prepares enrollment reports for the Dean and Associate Deans as requested.
- Assists Student Support Specialists with the supervision of graduate assistants (GAs) and student workers within the College of Education and Human Sciences (EHS).
- Supports recruitment and retention initiatives for the College of Education and Human Sciences (EHS).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
