Key Responsibilities:
- Underwriting and service delivery: Make sound decisions, communicate clearly and provide excellent service to customers while offering insurance quotes through phone and online chat
- Customer experience: Deliver the "USLI Experience" by demonstrating a positive and friendly attitude, a high service mindset, strong verbal communication skills, and problem-solving capabilities while working effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Insurance expertise: Deepen and expand your insurance knowledge and be able to apply it to assist customers with their needs
- Relationship building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and driving business growth
- Mentorship: Guide and support new underwriters, sharing your expertise and fostering a collaborative environment
- Professional development: Engage in ongoing learning, including completion of required underwriting classes, exams, designations, training and role plays within 24 months of hire

Qualifications:
- Language proficiency: Bilingual with fluency in speaking, writing, and reading in both Spanish and English, with the ability to effortlessly transition between languages
- Licensing: P&C license desired but not required
- Underwriting experience: 3 years in Commercial Property & Casualty, Personal, or Management & Professional Liability lines
- Insurance coursework: Insurance-related designations or coursework (e.g., CPCU, RPLU) is a plus
- Alternative experience: 5 years in any of the following:
- Other insurance roles (e.g., sales, claims, agent/broker)
- Financial services (e.g., banking, mortgage, consulting)
- Legal services (e.g., attorney, paralegal)
- Relevant call center experience
- Ability to work on-site at least four days per week
- Core work hours of 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. or 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. ET
Salary Range:
- $55,000 to $95,000 based on relevant experience, industry knowledge, skills and expertise
