USD 232 welcomes approximately 7,500 students each day (Early Childhood through grade 12) at 13 campuses, with seven elementary schools, three middle schools, two high schools, and Cedar Trails Exploration Center. Our district encompasses an area of nearly 100 square miles in northwest Johnson County and draws from the communities of De Soto, Shawnee, Lenexa, a portion of Olathe, and unincorporated areas of the county.
Qualifications:
-Masters degree from an accredited college/university in Special Education, Behavioral Sciences or another related field.
-Experience working with students with behavioral challenges.
-Ability to maintain documentation of all behavioral programming and planning for students, staff and families involving students receiving behavioral support services.
-An ability to provide ongoing staff development/mentoring for staff around positive behavioral supports and management.
-BCBA Certification is preferred, but candidates working toward their BCBA are also encouraged to apply.

Requirements:
All employees must have a current TB test (Tuberculosis). If you've had a recent TB Test (less than 12 months ago) we can accept a copy of your test results. If it was more than 1 year ago, you will be required to obtain a new test. Employees are responsible for the cost of the test.
