Job Description:
USCutter is growing and we need to find the right person to fill the role of Warehouse Associate. Under the general supervision of the Senior Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Associates perform duties relating to shipping, receiving, converting vinyl materials from larger to smaller quantities and cutting vinyl to custom lengths per customer's request. The position includes picking orders, stocking inventory, and keeping the warehouse a clean and safe environment.
Primary Job Duties:
- Receives inbound shipments from suppliers into inventory tracking software in a timely manner.
- Accurately counts and stocks received inventory into assigned bin locations.
- Prepares orders for shipment by pulling items from shelves by assigned bin locations, verifies correct item/items are picked and prepares items to be packaged and shipped to the customer.
- Properly packages items to ensure no damage to goods occurs during transit to customer.
- Converts larger quantities of vinyl material into smaller quantities using an industrial slitter rewinder.
- Package smaller rolls of vinyl material into boxes and stocks vinyl material in assigned bin locations.
- Maintains a clean work area to help ensure that product remains clean and to help prevent work related injuries
- Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, and safety rules.
- Must be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in mandatory annual physical inventory counts.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High School education or equivalent.
- 1 – 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Must pass background check and drug test before employment.
Desired Qualities:
- Experience driving a forklift.
- Experience with industrial slitter rewinders.
- Experience with inventory tracking software.
