Schedule: Days, Monday - Friday
Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Clinical Dietitian I, under general supervision, as a registered dietitian, conducts novice patient assessments, participates in the development of the plan of care, implements and evaluates care for mostly stable and minimally complex patients according to patient specific age and/or developmental needs. Collaborates with other health care team members in the delivery of care. Follows applicable policies and procedures in handling supplies and equipment. Guides and supports department technicians and assistants who support the delivery of nutrition care. Provides instructions to assigned dietetic interns during clinical rotations.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: Some pediatric-related experience.
Education/Licensure/Certification: Required:⢠Masterâs Degree in nutrition-related field; or Bachelorâs Degree in nutrition-related field plus additional 2 yearsâ full time experience as a Registered Dietitian.⢠Completion of AND/CDR accredited dietetic internship.⢠Current CDR registration as a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN)⢠Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification
Preferred:⢠Board certifications: CSP, CSR, CSSD, CSPCC, CSO, RD-AP, CDCES, CNSC, IBCLC
