Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-11 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. NOTE: Applicants applying as VEOA candidates who are current GS civil service employees or are prior GS civil service employees within the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements.

- Responsible for providing oversight of the 505 TRS training focusing on operational level command and control in at least one of the following disciplines: multi-service doctrine development and delivery, AOC Strategy Division, AOC Combat Operations management, AOC Combat Plans development and dissemination, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance, System and Network Administration, Interface Control Operations, and A?? specialty team functions and processes
- Develops, reviews, revises and approve training instructional materials in accordance with established learning objectives
- Using training experience and knowledge of training, develops and approve the plan and measurement devices for measuring achievement of instructional objectives
- Oversees the designs instruction for the 505 TRS
- Measures the effectiveness and efficiency of instructional programs for 505 TRS

This position requires AOC experience, academic instructor experience, and a two-year nationally/regionally accredited degree. Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to apply the principles and techniques of education and to help students acquire specific skills or knowledge.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and maintains good working relationships.
- Clear understanding of the application of recognized Instructional Systems Development (ISD) models for curriculum development and evaluation purposes.
- Ability to pan, organize, and prioritizes work to meeting changing deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively, clearly, concisely and with technical accuracy in responding to work-related problems and questions.
- Knowledge of the application of technology to a miliary training program, as well as a working knowledge of instructional technology applications key to the future development and adaption of courseware to computer-based and telecommunication oriented distributed learning system. AND/OR Recent experience in an operational AOC division.
