Quality Control Supervisor

We are looking for a highly motivated Quality Control Supervisor to join our Operations team. Under the direction of the Quality Control Manager, the Quality Control Supervisor will assist in the day-to-day functions of the department.
Responsibilities and duties include the following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
Summary: Assist in the day-to-day functions of the department in maintaining product quality standards by supervising and performing incoming, in-process, and finished goods inspection of electronic assemblies according to documentation and industry quality standards.
This is a hand-on supervisory position.
· Approves incoming materials through verification of specifications; conducting visual inspection, functional testing and measurements; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
· Approves in-process and finished goods production by verifying specifications according to approved documentation.
· Performs inspection of electrical components assemblies according to specifications.
· Performs audits/inspection of assembly processes, quality data, calibration logs and others processes and control points.
· Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work requirements; inputting data into quality database.
· Assists in the creation, development, evaluation, and documentation of quality procedures and systems.
· Assists in training associate inspectors and other personnel.
· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
· Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed.
· Knowledge regarding handling and processing RMA’s.
Requirements:
· High School diploma or equivalency; college degree a plus.
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role and in manufacturing environment.
· Knowledge of dimensional inspection.
· Knowledge of basic electrical circuits.
· Must be able to lift or move 50 lbs. regularly.
· Must be able to work standing.
· Adhere to all company rules, regulations, and safety procedures.
· Perform other duties assigned by Manager.
Work Schedule:
Great Work Schedule Monday – Friday schedule
8 am - 4:30 pm, and Saturdays when required (Saturday Hours: 6 am – 2:30 pm).
