What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer & Lead Tech - Demolition position at USA Water and Fire Restoration?
We are an emergency service company offering water, fire and mold remediation, open 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.
We are looking to hire general laborer's and a Lead tech. This role is responsible for responding to emergency water, fire, smoke, and mold losses, performing mitigation services, and helping restore properties to pre-loss condition.. Please note this is a labor intensive position. Laborer's/Lead tech will be required to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs. of material throughout the work day. Frequent walking, kneeling, bending and lifting.
Job Duties:
- Perform mitigation services including water extraction, drying, debris removal, cleaning, & demolition of affected materials
- Set up and remove drying equipment when needed
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites at all times
- *Additional for Lead Tech:
- *Perform and supervise demolition and removal of affected materials
- *Document job progress through photos, notes, and appropriate paperwork
- *Communicate professionally with homeowners, project managers and team members
Job Requirements:
- Must be physically fit & ability to lift 50 lb.
- Experience in water, fire, or mold restoration required
- Drivers license (required) and clean driving record
- Experience driving a box truck (company vehicles)
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to respond to emergency water damage situations when needed
- Must have reliable transportation
- Fluent in English
- Basic hand tools required

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Experience:
- Water damage restoration leadership for Team Lead: 3 years (Required)
