Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Yard Laborer to join our team. WILL TRAIN.
Duties
- Load and unload trailers correctly and efficiently with job materials needed.
- Perform any other misc. task given. (deliver materials, regular upkeep, organize materials, etc.)
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to transport materials and equipment as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces to uphold safety standards in production environments
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly at all times to ensure safety compliance
- Conduct routine inspections of tools, equipment, and work areas to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform some heavy lifting as needed.
- Forklift experience a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety standards.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
- CDL is a plus, but should be willing to obtain after hire with company help.
- Honest and reliable.
- Ability to work independently.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
