We are seeking a highly motivated PHYSICAL THERAPY AIDE / OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR to handle a variety of clinical and administrative tasks in a fast paced, busy physical therapy office, including helping aid in patient flow and management as well as clinical responsibilities.

We have a full time position available in our FORT LAUDERDALE office.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Acts as an assistant to the Physical Therapist when the Physical Therapist is performing evaluations and procedures.
- Aid in the implementation of patient's individualized treatment plan as established by the Physical Therapist
- Guide patients through PT-prescribed exercises
- Administer modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation
- Clean and disinfect treatment tables, equipment, and instruments after each use and at the end of the day.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Answer phones, greet patients and other visitors when they arrive
- Collect co-pays, coinsurance and self-pay payments
- Work with other team members to implement systems, programs, and processes
- Schedule patient appointments and complete new patient intake procedures
- Distribute forms and paperwork and check them over to ensure that required fields are completed properly
- Manage inventory of necessary office supplies and coordinate reordering
- Assist in managing patient flow: check in and check out
Qualifications
- Have a basic understanding of human anatomy & physiology
- Knowledge of various treatment concepts and exercises
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Outgoing and vibrant personality
- Quick learner that’s able to work independently
- 1 years of experience working in a healthcare setting
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
