Job Title:                     Kitchen Manager

Department:               CJ’s Brewery

Reports To:                 Director of Food and Beverage

Basic Function:           The Kitchen Manager of CJ’s Brewery is responsible for the development, training and retention of key employees, team performance, increased sales and profitability, and effective cost controls. Multiple managers’ work together to ensure the restaurant meets established financial and operating performance goals.

Essential functions and responsibilities

include, but are not limited to:

·      Managing performance of all team members including cooks, dishwashers

·       Support initiatives to build sales, profitability and guest counts

·       Maintain cost controls

·       Ordering

·      Monitor completed food product to ensure company standards for presentation, taste and temperature are being met

·      Respond to guest and associate comments and criticism in a constructive and positive manner

·      Restaurant administrative duties include maintaining labor efficiencies, ensuring proper levels of service, supporting overall restaurant sales and profitability goals

Required Qualifications:

·       Must be 21 years of age

·       Minimum 2-4 years of experience in full service restaurant is required

·       At least 1-3 years of supervisory experience is preferred

·       Private events and banquet experience is a plus

·       Good people management skills, communication and listening skills

·       Possess time management and organizational skills

·       Internally motivated with a passion for teaching others

·       Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays

USA Hockey Arena is a multi-purpose arena in Plymouth, Michigan, opened in 1996. Originally known as Compuware Sports Arena, It was renamed to USA Hockey Arena in 2015 when the USA Hockey Foundation purchased the arena.
USA Hockey Arena encompasses approximately 170,000 square feet with one main seating level, private suites and press boxes. The creative design of the arena affords the opportunity to provide 3,504 seats for hockey games and 4,500 seats for concerts and other performances.
