Responsibilities
Provides administrative support to multiple attorneys and paralegals; effectively communicates with colleagues and outside counsel; processes legal bills from vendors for payment, and maintain detailed records of same; assists in the on-boarding of new Legal Department employees, payroll and other administrative duties; maintains the schedule for USA Health attorneys; manages expenses and travel for the USA Health attorneys; maintains office supplies, procurement of necessary IT equipment; works with facilities personnel and coordinates with vendors to troubleshoot equipment; prepares legal documents and correspondence; assists with the closing of corporate transactions and prepares related closing binders; acts as receptionist for corporate offices of USA Health, receiving colleagues and visitors in a professional and congenial manner; interacts with law enforcement officers; sorts and distributes mail and deliveries, etc.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama and one year legal assistant experience. Experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required college education. Certification as a Legal Assistant is preferred.
