Job Title: Dispatcher
Employment Type: Part-Time (includes 1 weekend day holidays)
Available Shifts:
- Night - 3:00pm-5:00pm - 9:00pm ( hours vary and are flexible, especially during busy season).
- This opportunity is perfect for someone who has a full time job that ends by 3:30/4:00 daily.
- Report Location: Camp Springs/Temple Hills, MD
USA Guided Tours LLC was founded in 2013 and is the top-rated sightseeing / transportation service provider in the National Capital Region. Our services, range from public and private sightseeing tours, to multi-forms of transportation.
USAGT is in search of a Dispatcher for our Falls Church, VA office. Candidate must be highly organized, motivated, and have exceptional people skills.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Check systems, etc., prepare manifest and supplies to take to meeting point
- Meet guests in Washington, DC (in company vehicle) - set up for guest arrival, organize lines, check people in, collect payments (as needed) ***THIS POSITION DOES REQUIRE TRAVELING OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE, IN THE FIELD.
- Ensure tours leave on time
- Maintain communication with drivers, tour, guides, etc. prior to and up to guest check-in
- Advise Operations Manager of challenges / issues prior to tour departure
- Complete Summary Reports and document issues (if any)
- Coordinate / handle logistics for the next shift's tours
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements - Must:
- have strong/proven leadership skills
- have ability to manage large groups / project voice for crowd control
- have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- have accurate data entry / typing skills
- have customer service experience with knowledge of Washington, DC
- be able to solve and analyze problems
- be fluent in English
- be able to work in a fast-paced environment - calmly, with composure
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license required
- Knowledge of Microsoft OS and applications
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Team Player
- Works well under pressure
