We are seeking a Front Office Receptionist to join our team!
Role & Responsibilities:
- Greeting patients as they arrive
- Checking in patients
- Creating and maintaining electronic health records
- Properly documenting on patients
- Scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling patients as needed
- Professionally communicate with both patients and providers
- Answer multiple telephone lines
- Filing and retrieving medical records
- Scanning in documents
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Adhere to company policy and procedures
- Ability to multitask both effectively and efficiently
- Preparing patient exam rooms
- Obtaining patient’s vital signs (height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse)
- Accurately documenting vital signs
- Perform other duties as needed
Required Job Experience
- Previous front desk experience required
- Previous experience obtaining vital signs required
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Excellent computer skills & experience with Microsoft Office required
- Experience with Athena preferred
- Good written and verbal communication
Required Education
- High School/ GED
- Some college preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
