Job Description Job Description Join Agilent’s Newport manufacturing team as a Maintenance Technician, where your mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities will help keep our production process equipment running smoothly. Flexible start times (typically between 6:00–8:00 AM). Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production process equipment and machinery. Support installation, calibration, and testing of new and existing equipment, including pumps, liquid handling systems, solenoids, pressure transducers, and thermocouples. Collaborate with engineers and production teams to resolve equipment issues and optimize processes. Use technical documentation, blueprints, and manuals to guide maintenance activities. Maintain accurate records and documentation of maintenance work. Operate powered scissor lifts and forklifts (training provided). Respond to maintenance emergencies, including occasional after-hours or weekend work. Qualifications 1 years of relevant experience maintaining production or manufacturing equipment (apprenticeship, operator, or helper experience considered). Strong mechanical aptitude; experience with liquid handling equipment, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical motors, and conveyors is a plus. Willingness to learn and be trained on new equipment and processes. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Able to consistently lift up to 25 lbs. No specific certifications or degrees required. Additional Details This job has a full time weekly schedule. The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $25.03 - $39.11/hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
