US Trades is seeking experienced Wisconsin Licensed Journeyman Electricians for industrial projects throughout the state. These positions involve electrical installation, maintenance, and construction within paper mills and other heavy industrial facilities. Candidates must have strong experience working in active industrial environments and be comfortable performing a wide range of electrical tasks with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
• Bend, install, and support rigid conduit (EMT, IMC, GRC) to industrial standards
• Install cable tray systems, including ladder tray, wire basket, and specialized supports
• Pull, route, and secure electrical wiring for power, controls, and instrumentation
• Terminate electrical devices, panels, motors, and industrial equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and conduit drawings
• Work safely around energized systems and follow all LOTO procedures
• Perform quality installations in paper mills, chemical plants, manufacturing facilities, and other heavy industrial settings
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all site safety requirements
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and site personnel
Required Qualifications
• Valid Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician License (mandatory)
• Minimum 3–5 years of industrial electrical experience
• Strong ability to bend and install rigid conduit to precise measurements
• Experience with cable tray installation and conduit support systems
• Proficiency in wire pulling and terminating various electrical devices
• Ability to work in industrial environments that may include heat, noise, heights, and confined areas
• Strong commitment to safety and following established work procedures
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in paper mills or heavy manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with industrial motors, MCCs, controls, and PLC wiring
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 training
• Ability to work overtime or extended shifts as required by the project
