Site Security Guard - Nights

US Trades is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Site Security Guard to provide night and weekend security coverage at active construction sites. This role is responsible for helping secure the jobsite perimeter, monitoring equipment and materials, and maintaining a visible security presence during non-working hours. The ideal candidate is dependable, observant, and comfortable working independently overnight while ensuring the safety and security of the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and secure the construction site during night shift and weekend hours

• Patrol fence lines, gates, and designated perimeter areas to ensure they remain secure

• Observe and safeguard equipment, tools, and materials stored on site

• Control access to the jobsite by monitoring entry points during assigned hours

• Report suspicious activity, security concerns, or unsafe conditions to appropriate contacts

• Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorized access or theft

• Complete basic security logs, reports, or checklists as required

• Communicate effectively with site management, law enforcement, or emergency services if needed

Schedule & Coverage

• Night shift coverage

• Weekend coverage required

• Hours and schedule may vary based on project needs

Required Qualifications

• Previous security, construction site, or related experience preferred

• Ability to work independently and remain alert during overnight hours

• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness

• Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite

• Ability to follow site-specific security procedures and protocols
