Job Description
US Trades is seeking experienced Mechanical Conveyor Installers to join our team. This role is ideal for skilled professionals who take pride in precision work, safety, and delivering high-quality installations in industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install conveyor systems, including frames, rollers, pulleys, bearings, and motors
- Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Align and level conveyor systems to ensure proper tracking and performance
- Assist with site layout, measurements, and equipment positioning
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on conveyor systems
- Document installation progress, labor hours, and materials used
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA standards at all times
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in conveyor installation, millwright work, or similar mechanical field
- Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical and structural drawings
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
- Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented with strong work ethic and reliability
- OSHA 10 or able to obtain
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights
- Able to perform physically demanding work for extended periods
