What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory and Logistics Tech position at US Trades?
For the Logistics - Labor position, we are looking for candidates who are able to regularly perform inventory counts when checking materials in, as well as accurately track those materials as they get distributed amongst the install crews on the site. We are seeking a dependable Bilingual Inventory Technician to support our parts department with inventory control, material handling, and logistics support.
This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to perform accurate counts, and the willingness to assist with all aspects of the inventory and material movement process.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate inventory counts and help maintain organized parts/material records.
- Scan, label, sort, stage, and organize parts and materials as needed.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, pulling, and distributing materials.
- Support the parts department with daily inventory and logistics tasks.
- Communicate clearly with team members and follow direction from supervisors.
- Adjust quickly to changing priorities based on department and project needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Requirements
- Prefer but not required to be be conversationally bilingual.
- Must be able to perform accurate counts and pay close attention to detail.
- Must be able to walk, stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, and move heavy loads weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to move larger or heavier loads with the assistance of pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
- Must be willing to assist with all parts of the inventory and logistics process.
- Must be dependable, team-oriented, and able to follow direction.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced parts or material handling environment.
