Position Summary

US Tool Group is seeking a Tool Prep Level 1 team member to join our Day Shift operations in Farmington, Missouri.

This position is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and sorting a variety of cutting tools with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:

• Ability to work independently and stay focused on assigned tasks
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
• Experience using inspection and measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong attention to detail with speed and accuracy
• Basic computer skills and experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Self-motivation and a commitment to completing assigned work
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Essential Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

• Identifying, evaluating, and sorting a wide variety of cutting tools
• Using measuring instruments to inspect and verify tool dimensions
• Utilizing computer coding programs to classify and process tooling
• Maintaining organization and accuracy while handling large volumes of tools
• Following quality standards and established work procedures
• Supporting team objectives and production goals

Physical Requirements

• 95% Sitting
• 5% Standing
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
