Title: Procurement Consultant (Indirect Procurement)
Location: Plano, TX 75024
Duration: 12 months with possible extension or conversion
Position: Onsite every Tuesday as needed, Remote Mon/Wed/Thu/Fri
Job Overview
- We are looking for a Procurement Consultant to join the Indirect Procurement team. In this role, you will lead and support strategic sourcing initiatives, manage RFP/RFQ processes, and drive cost optimization and risk mitigation across key indirect spend categories such as facilities management and IT/software services.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers to develop sourcing strategies, manage contracts, and support procurement operations using SAP Ariba (Procure-to-Pay system).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute multi-year sourcing and category strategies
- Manage end-to-end RFP / RFQ / RFI processes with internal stakeholders
- Support drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts including:
- NDAs
- Professional Services Agreements
- SaaS / Software License Agreements
- Work closely with business teams and suppliers to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Analyze business requirements and support procurement solutions aligned with business needs
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms while managing risk
- Use SAP Ariba (PTP system) to process and review procurement requests and purchase orders
- Troubleshoot procurement-related issues and support root cause analysis when needed
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and drive operational efficiency
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of experience in Indirect Procurement / Strategic Sourcing
- Strong experience managing RFP/RFQ/RFI processes
- Hands-on experience in contract negotiation and vendor management
- Experience with SAP Ariba (Procure-to-Pay / PTP system)
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in procurement of services, SaaS, software, or facilities management
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- Experience in automotive or large enterprise environments
- Strong background in cost optimization and sourcing strategy
- Experience working with global or cross-functional teams
