What are the responsibilities and job description for the Buyer Administrator – Procurement Operations position at US Tech Solutions?
Duration: 9 Months Contract role with possible extension
What are the main 3-5 responsibilities of this resource?
- Working with PTP on invoicing and following up on orders but will not necessarily be placing orders, this is an administrator supporting a buyer team, they may some buyer duties however the primary tasks are administrative in nature.
- Helping requestors in placing the requisition, they will be trained on Oracle fusion so they can field the calls from requestors, and help with invoicing follow up. They will handle escalations on critical pays, liase with the PTP team, working with end users on how to create requisitions, show requestors on how to create PO’s. Communication skills and organizational skills are critical for this role. Excel requires pivot tables and vlookup.
- Indirect buyer experience is preferred.
What are the TOP Critical Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement operations, buying administration, or procure-to-pay support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Working knowledge of procurement systems such as Ariba, Oracle, or SAP.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-through skills.
- Nice to Have:
- Experience supporting indirect procurement or shared services procurement teams.
- Familiarity with media, entertainment, or large enterprise environments.
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to support a high volume of requests.
- Ability to follow established processes while adapting to evolving system and business needs.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
