Why You’ll Love This Role

We’re looking for a motivated, energetic Solar Appointment Setter to connect with homeowners and schedule appointments for our solar consultants. This is a performance-driven call center role where your effort directly impacts your earnings. If you’re goal-oriented, competitive, and motivated to increase your income, this could be a great fit. This role is perfect for people with experience in customer service, call center, telecommunications, or sales who want to grow their earning potential.

What you’ll earn:

  • $15/hour base pay
  • Bonuses commission opportunities

Schedule:
Full-time with evening and Saturday opportunities available.

A Day in the Life

As an Appointment Setter, you are often the first impression of Sun Solar… and that matters.

You will:

  • Make outbound and follow-up calls to potential customers
  • Educate homeowners about our solar services
  • Build rapport and create positive experiences
  • Schedule qualified appointments for our sales team
  • Help customers feel confident and excited about going solar

What We’re Looking For

  1. Previous call center, outbound dialing, telemarketing and/or lead generation experience
  2. Strong communication skills and confidence on the phone
  3. Goal-oriented and motivated by performance-based pay
  4. Ability to stay positive and consistent in a fast-paced environment
  5. Coachable with a strong work ethic

Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal communication skills and confidence speaking with customers over the phone
  • Experience handling outbound calls, lead follow-up, or customer outreach
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and create a positive customer experience
  • Goal-oriented with motivation to meet appointment setting, lead generation, or sales performance targets
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced call center / inside sales environment
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to handle objections and guide conversations effectively
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems while on calls
  • Dependable, coachable, and able to work collaboratively within a team setting
  • Consistent attendance and strong work ethic
  • Previous experience in customer service, call center, telecommunication sales, inside sales, or phone-based customer support
  • Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
