What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Behavior Technician position at US Med Staff?
We are looking for Registered Behavior Technicians to join our team and provide support to children with developmental and behavioral needs. The ideal candidate must have experience working with children, specifically in the field of Applied Behavioral Analysis. The successful candidate will be patient, organized, and have excellent communication skills. An active RBT license is required for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavioral interventions in accordance with the Behavior Plan.
- Provide positive reinforcement and redirection to children with behavioral issues.
- Monitor and document behavior changes.
- Collect data on behavior changes.
- Develop individualized behavior plans for children.
- Provide feedback to parents and other professionals on the progress of the child.
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
- Experience with data collection tools and software.
- Familiarity with Positive Behavior Support (PBS) strategies and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).
- Associate or bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred. Will accept High School Diploma with at least 1 year classroom experience.
- At least 1 year experience working with children with developmental and behavioral challenges, preferably in an educational or clinical setting.
- Knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to collect and document data accurately and efficiently.
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
- Experience with data collection tools and software.
- Familiarity with Positive Behavior Support (PBS) strategies and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).
