What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisory Equipment Specialist position at US General Services Administration?
As a Supervisory Equipment Specialist (Automotive), you will be responsible for the management and operation of one of the Fleet National Maintenance Control Centers.
Location of position: General Services Administration, Federal Acquisition Services, Office of Travel, Transportation, and Logistics.
We are currently filling two (2) vacancies, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

The GS-13 salary range starts at $106,437 per year. Locality pay varies by duty station location. Duty location will be determined upon selection.
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is experience in the automotive field that includes:
- Evaluating preventative maintenance programs to ensure compliance with vehicle manufacturers’ warranty and safety guidelines.
- Evaluating vehicle maintenance requirements and operational capabilities to determine appropriate costs
- Reviewing vehicle modifications or new equipment to ensure compatibility with existing models
There is no qualifying education at the GS-13 level.
