Medical Assistant 2 Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

Welcome and prepare patients for exams and procedures

Take vitals, update EMR, assist with minor surgeries and in-office procedures

Perform basic podiatric care (nail care, callus removal, diabetic shoe fitting)

Process prescriptions, insurance verifications, and patient education

Conduct X-rays, manage lab specimens, and maintain supplies/instruments

Ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation
Medical Assistant 2 Required Skills and Experience:

High School Diploma/GED required

Medical Assistant program completion OR 1 years of clinical experience

CMA or RMA certification preferred

Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
Medical Assistant 2 Pay Range:
- $18 - $21/hr based on experience
