Job Summary:
US Display Group, Inc., a premier manufacturer of Point of Purchase displays. The Accounts Payable clerk is responsible for the processing of payables, sales orders, and other accounting operational tasks while also supporting receptionist duties.
Description:
This position will perform a variety of accounting clerical tasks related to the maintenance/processing of payable account records, invoices, etc. Receptionist duties include answering and transferring phone calls to employees, sorting and delivering mail to employees, and greeting visitors when they arrive for meetings with management or sales staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review bills for payment (match invoices with purchase orders).
- Check for proper approvals and authorizations.
- Enter and process payments and Generate checks.
- Maintain vendor files.
- Assist Controller in preparing tax and government reports.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures.
- Additional duties as assigned by management.
- Set up all vendors
- Respond to all customer inquiries in a polite and timely manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner.
- Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner and answer any questions visitors have.
- Maintain reception area and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner at all times.
- Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a fax machine, a copy machine, and a computer.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and of calls received.
- Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to work in a fast environment
- Experience in using accounting software
- Keen attention to detail
- In-depth understanding of company standards
- Computer proficiency including MS Word and MS Excel
- Experience with WMS/ HRIS/ Amtech
Work Environment:
The Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist will primarily work in an office setting located within a manufacturing plant environment. While the office itself is climate-controlled and equipped with standard office technology (computer, phone, etc.), the employee may occasionally be exposed to the typical sights, sounds, and conditions of a manufacturing facility.
Key aspects of the work environment include:
- Frequent interaction with internal staff, vendors, and other plant personnel, both in person and via phone/email.
- The role is primarily sedentary, requiring extended periods of sitting and computer use, but may involve occasional walking within the plant for meetings or document retrieval.
- Exposure to moderate noise levels from plant machinery when outside the office space.
- The need to adhere to all safety protocols and procedures when accessing the production areas.
