HR Specialist (Military) -Title 5

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for an HR Specialist (Military) -Title 5, Position Description Number T59004P1 and is part of the WI 115 FSS, Wisconsin Air National Guard.Qualifications:GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Demonstrates the ability to:

1. Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions;
2. Plan and organize work; and
3. Communicate effectively orally and in writing.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-07 level or the equivalent which provided a working knowledge of National Guard missions, organizations, and federal civilian or military personnel programs. Must have experience in executing personnel programs and Human Resources Information Systems, as applicable to the specific position and its position description, for example: DEERS and RAPIDS. Candidate can write reports and presentation formats; and ability to communicate -orally and in writing- clearly and effectively. Preferred applicants have experience with Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel and/or the entire Office 365 suite. Candidate must be able to work autonomously and have experience with program management. Candidate must have attention to details, organizational skills and excellent judgement. Must have experience with proper phone etiquette and the ability to online schedule. Candidate must be able to understand military retirements and veterans' benefits.Education:If you are using Education to qualify for this position, master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related
