Summary: The Commercial Lending Associate role provides first-hand support primarily to assigned Loan Officers/Lenders. Performs several duties pertinent to meeting the needs of the Bank’s customers (internal and external) and assist in the development of new business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to assigned Loan Officers/Lenders.
- Manage and prioritize incoming telephone calls and when necessary, directing calls to the appropriate Loan Officer/Lender or department.
- Resolves customer inquiries within level of authority.
- Serve as liaison between Loan Officer/Lender, management, and clients to improve customer service, build rapport and increase business productivity.
- In-depth knowledge of lending, compliance regulations and bank operations.
- Thorough knowledge of commercial lending practices and requirements.
- Ability to analyze information, assess needs and recommend solutions.
- Track, follow-up and resolve customer’s outstanding matters in a timely manner.
- Familiarity with state and federal lending regulatory and compliance requirements.
