What you will be doing:
· This position will assist in document control and administrative tasks focused on the following:

- Accounts Payable
- Purchasing
- Inventory Management
- Shipping & Receiving
- Data Entry
- QA/QC
· Coordinate inbound/outbound freight logistics vendors
· Coordinate inbound shipments with customs broker
· Schedule meetings and create agendas
· Schedule travel
· Creating Purchase Orders
· Managing Inventory Software
· Organizing turnover packages
· Communicating ideas with your team
Payroll
· Weekly payroll review, working with supervisors to correct issues prior to final approval and submission.
Recruiting
· Manage employee recruitment (hourly and salaried) including jobs postings, schedule interviews, schedule pre-employment drug tests, background screenings, etc.
New Hire/Onboarding
· Coordinate and/or conduct new hire onboarding benefit enrollment, payroll, I9, orientation and training.
Active Employee Guide
· Assist employees with questions related to payroll, benefits, training, policies, procedures
· Assist employees with payroll and benefits systems changing personal information, portal access
· Coordinate and/or conduct offboarding employees at the time of resignation or termination
Compliance
· Participate in the communication roll-out and implementation of company policies, safety guidelines, related health and safety communications, employee resources and educational information.
· Create and maintain electronic personnel file for each employee ensuring all required documentation, role/responsibility change, and affirmative action.
· Prepare and maintain required documentation to ensure compliance governmental and legal requirements is maintained.
· Maintain records and prepare documentation to maintain governmental and legal compliance
· Manage unemployment and workers compensation claims with the oversight and direction from EVP HR.
· Manage local administrative requirements related to leaves of absence (FMLA, Military, Jury Duty…)
· Produce requested reports such as turnover, seniority, hours worked, PTO tracking, etc.
· Communicate benefit changes to employees and facilitate changes in HRIS and/or benefit platform
· Participate in safety audits to identify existing/ potentially hazardous conditions
· Update and maintain on site communication boards with required state and federal postings with the direction and oversight from EVP HR
· Follow all safety, quality, production, environmental policies, and procedures
· Be a good team member, assisting others as needed in a helpful way
· Contribute to team effort by performing other assigned duties as needed
The required skills and education to be successful:
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience with ADP Total Source, preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, preferred.
- At least two years related experience required.
