This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).

- Represents the directorate on matters related to operations and training.
- Provides guidance on short and long range plans, resolved personnel issues, and make decisions on complex work problems.
- Serves as a senior advisor on program management, personnel, operations, security, budgeting, administration, and systems management.
Conditions of employment
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires that the employee occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 20% of the time.
- Call back and emergency duty are occasional requirements of this position.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450.
- Incumbent requires to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance Level.
- Drug testing designated position (TDP) under the Department of the Army Drug-Free Federal Workplace Program in accordance with AR 600-85.
- Supervisory Probationary may be required.
