JOB TITLE: Customer Speaker Program Marketing Manager
LOCATION: Arlington, VA
DURATION: 6 months
PAY RANGE: $34 - $44/hr.

As a Customer Speaker Program Manager at Web Services (AWS), you will drive the end-to-end management of customer speaking engagements and reference programs. This role requires excellent organizational abilities, process management expertise, and collaborative leadership skills. You will be responsible for developing scalable processes, managing program budgets, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to deliver successful customer speaking engagements.
Customer speaking engagements/Reference programs: keynote speakers. PM for different events, live events. Run meetings and work back trackers. 60% PM heavy.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize program processes, including budget management, timeline coordination, and nomination procedures
- Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives
- Manage stakeholder relationships across technical, events, legal, PR, and creative teams
- Oversee program budget allocation and tracking
- Identify process improvements and implement solutions to enhance program efficiency
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience in program management, event management, or related field
- Experience managing budgets of 500K or greater
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar productivity tools
- Live event experience preferred
- Experience with customer reference programs or speaker management
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience working in a global, matrix organization
- Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority
- Experience with process improvement methodologies
