POSITION SUMMARY:
We’re seeking a Vice President of Business Development (Sales) to lead all new business Go-to-Market and achieve aggressive revenue targets. We have executed a repeatable sales model with consistent recurring revenue growth. This critical, hands-on role requires transitioning our successful C-suite managed sales motion into a next level metric-driven sales machine. You will be responsible for defining and implementing our sales strategy to ensure maximum growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Development Strategy & Vision
Define and execute the long-term business development and GTM strategy.
Optimize the entire Sales Life Cycle.
Business Development Operations & Performance
Own and manage all critical sales KPIs, including Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).
Implement rigorous sales forecasting and pipeline management processes to ensure
predictability and consistency in revenue generation.
Establish and enforce the use of Hubspot CRM for accurate tracking, reporting, and
lead nurturing automation across all sales stages.
Ensure timely follow-up with all inbound leads by the Business Development Team.
Team Leadership & Development
Further scale a high-performing, remote business development organization that
includes Sales Development Reps (SDRs), Business Development Reps (BDRs) and
Business Development Managers (BDMs).
Guide the SDR/Outbound team on targeted prospecting and personalized outreach to
decision-makers at financial institutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Marketing to ensure seamless lead flow and effective Sales
Enablement (messaging, assets, targeted campaign lists).
Partner with Product and Engineering to deliver customer feedback and communicate
technical insights during the sales cycle.
Communicate sales progress, priorities, and market feedback effectively to the executive team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
10 years of experience in B2B SaaS Client, including 4 years leading teams as a
Director, Head of Sales, or VP.
Proven record of scaling a SaaS or Fintech Client organization to achieve 100% annual
growth (e.g., from $0 to $50M ARR).
Demonstrated success in complex, enterprise sales environments with an Annual
Contract Value (ACV) of $30K or higher.
Deep understanding and experience with modern sales methodologies, including
inbound and outbound strategies .
Expertise in managing and utilizing CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Reply.io).
Experience selling SaaS or analytics technologies required; specifically to banks and
credit unions/financial institutions, is a significant plus.
Experience with online advertising and ad tech technologies is a significant plus.
Excellent communicator with a strong ability to bridge market/customer challenges with
product value.
Experienced in leading remote, distributed business development teams.
Significant experience in in-person sales at trade shows and conferences, including
planning, executing, leading by example, and utilizing structured performance tracking.
Ability to travel periodically, including visiting prospects as needed.
