What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concierge Manager position at URBN Playground?
In addition to accomplishing the shift duties of Concierge as described below, the Concierge Manager is responsible for training, development, and day-to-day coaching of the site Concierge team. The Manager will also hire team members, schedule the team, plan coverage for scheduled and unscheduled time off, and monitor/approve timecards.
Full-time, four weekdays plus one weekend day per week. Starting wage of $26.50-27.50, plus medical/vision/dental plans, paid vacation, paid sick, and commuter benefits.

Concierge Team Duties:
- The team will act as the liaison between residents, our staff, and building management at different levels. As the “first face” that is seen, the Concierge team will be the main point of contact for our residents.
- Greet all residents by name upon their arrival, delivering high-quality customer service
- Maintain the security of the building: register guests and delivery people and announce their arrival to the resident(s) they are visiting
- Monitor building security via cameras and inform building management of necessary situations
- Receive complaints from residents regarding building issues (i.e. smoking, loud music, safety issue, etc.)
- Communicate your responses/resolution to building management and to your manager as needed
- Communicate open complaint situations to building management for assistance when necessary
- Manage the packages coming into the building and inform residents when packages have arrived using building software.
- Act as the forward reception for potential residents coming for tours and interested in leasing apartments
- Keep residents informed about building events
- Ensure residents know about the URBN app, and help residents learn how to use the app to sign up for building events and unique services
- Make restaurant reservations, inform residents of local events and tourism, and provide entertainment opportunities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level data and computer skills
- Great customer service orientation
- Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to connect at all levels with staff and residents, engaging with different stakeholders
- 1 years supervisory experience, preferably overseeing a concierge team
- High school diploma required; college diploma preferred
- Prior hospitality experience and/or residential concierge/front desk
- 2-3 years customer service
- Ability stand at a desk for 8 hours
- Knowledge of and ability to learn the community and local area
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to lift 40 pounds, and to carry for short distances
- Additional language skills a plus
