What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at Urbanna Seafood Market and Raw Bar?
We are looking for a line cook at our waterfront restaurant in Urbanna
Responsibilities
- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, fillet fish, or preparing sauces)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
No experience required; we will train the right person. All are welcome to apply.
Multiple shifts available, day or evening. Restaurant is open from 11am-9pm five days a week.
