Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst/Implementation Analyst to lead the full lifecycle of ERP and enterprise system implementations. This role will drive process improvements across Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations through detailed analysis, system configuration, and cross-functional collaboration.
The ideal candidate will bring deep ERP expertise (Epicor or SAP), strong documentation and testing skills, and experience delivering data-driven solutions using tools such as Power BI or Tableau in Agile or hybrid environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end implementation lifecycle of ERP or enterprise business systems, including requirements gathering, functional design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Conduct detailed analysis of business processes across Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation or optimization.
- Translate complex business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria to support configuration, customization, and integration efforts.
- Collaborate with technical teams to define system architecture, data flows, and interface requirements for seamless connectivity between enterprise applications, reporting platforms, and third-party systems.
- Configure, test, and develop reports and dashboards to support assigned business areas.
- Facilitate cross-functional design workshops to validate requirements and ensure alignment with platform capabilities and enterprise standards.
- Create business process models, data flow diagrams, and system architecture documents using tools such as MS Visio or Lucidchart.
- Contribute to system configuration, including business rules, workflows, pricing conditions, and document templates (invoices, POs, SOs) across relevant modules.
- Develop interactive dashboards, scorecards, and reports to deliver operational insights, track KPIs, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Manage and prioritize product backlog, sprint planning, and delivery tracking in agile or hybrid project environments.
- Act as liaison between IT and business teams to ensure solutions meet requirements, standards, and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 10 years of relevant experience.
- 3 years of experience creating process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, user stories, and other documentation to support requirements gathering and solution design.
- 3 years of experience supporting enterprise business systems (Epicor or SAP) with a strong understanding of ERP processes and best practices.
- Experience creating and maintaining master data records (materials, customers, vendors, resources) and performing data uploads/validation within ERP systems.
- Ability to take a leadership role in User Acceptance Testing planning and execution.
- Domain or technical certifications in Business Analysis, Agile, or ERP applications (preferred).
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
