Position: Front of House Team Member
Location: Cafe O’ Play – 6779 Olive Blvd. University City, MO 63130
Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time
Projected Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday: 7am-2pm
Compensation: $15 per hour (plus tips)
Tentative Start Date: 10/7/26

Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Service: Greet customers warmly, offer menu recommendations, and handle inquiries or complaints with a positive attitude.
- Beverage Crafting: Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages (espresso, lattes, teas) to cafe standards.
- FOH Duties: Operate the POS system, process cash/card transactions accurately, and keep the pastry case stocked and tidy.
- Maintenance & Cleaning: Maintain a clean workspace, which includes sanitizing espresso machines, cleaning grinders, washing dishes, and keeping the seating area spotless.
- Inventory & Stocking: Monitor supply levels (cups, syrups, beans) and restock as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous barista and/or cafe experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and basic math skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Flexibility to work early mornings.
