The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis Inc. is currently seeking a Center Coordinator. Under general supervision, the Center Coordinator is responsible for the management of a single site consisting of Head Start/Early Head Start classrooms. This includes monitoring curriculum and providing educational resources for staff and parents. The Center Coordinator has technical and administrative supervision over the Center staff; works in tandem with other program coordinators and specialists; and is a member of the Head Start/Early Head Start Management Team.
The above knowledge and abilities are typically acquired through a combination of education and experience.

Candidates Must Have
- A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, is required, a master's degree is preferred
- three years of experience in curriculum planning and the instruction of pre-school children.
- Three years of experience in an administrative function with direct supervisory responsibilities is preferred.
- Experience in working with disadvantaged and low-income families is desirable.
- A physical exam, clear tuberculosis screen, Hepatitis A vaccination and background check are required.
