Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Budtender role located in New York, NY. The Budtender will engage with customers to provide recommendations based on their needs and preferences, educate customers about product offerings, and assist with purchases. Responsibilities also include processing transactions, maintaining accurate cash handling practices, managing inventory, and ensuring the store is organized and compliant with regulations. Delivering excellent customer service to enhance the shopping experience is a primary focus of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong Product Knowledge with the ability to educate customers on products and their uses
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively assist and engage with customers
- Experience in Cash Handling, including processing transactions with accuracy and efficiency
- Inventory Management capabilities to track, organize, and stock products appropriately
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment
- Familiarity with cannabis products, laws, and regulations is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
